Terms of Service

Last updated: May 5, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using UpJobPilot ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software. UpJobPilot is a product of Doone (doone.dev).

2. License

Subject to a valid license (active subscription or free trial) and these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use UpJobPilot on up to three (3) machines per license, for personal or professional use. You may not:

3. Pricing & Billing

UpJobPilot is offered in two forms:

4. Refunds

14-day refund policy on the paid subscription, no questions asked. To request a refund, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are processed via LemonSqueezy. Upon refund the corresponding license is revoked.

5. Upwork API & AI Provider Keys

Connecting your own Upwork API credentials is optional — used only to enable automatic background scanning. The browser helper extension works without any Upwork API key. If you do connect API credentials, it is your responsibility to comply with Upwork's API Terms of Use. UpJobPilot is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Upwork.

Beyond the Free Trial, UpJobPilot also requires your own AI provider API key (Anthropic Claude or Google Gemini). All AI calls in BYOK mode are made directly from your machine to your chosen provider using your key. You are responsible for any AI usage costs charged by your provider and for complying with their respective Terms of Service.

6. AI-Generated Content

UpJobPilot uses Claude (Anthropic) or Gemini (Google) — depending on your configuration — to generate job scores, client assessments, profile audits, and proposal drafts. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated output. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing proposals before submitting them.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use UpJobPilot to:

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular results regarding job applications or earnings.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue or income, arising out of or related to your use of UpJobPilot.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Software at any time, with or without cause, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Software ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
